Students can't see something in my module - I can see it greyed out...

If an item (or a whole module) is greyed out, then it is invisible to students (though still visible to staff)

• Click Turn Editing On
• Next to the item that is greyed out click the closed eye icon.

It changes to an open eye icon and the item becomes visible to students (plus no longer greyed out).

NOTE: You may have to refresh or reload your web page (use the option in your browser) to see the grey disappear.

When can students see a greyed-out item?

If an item is set to release on a particular date then you can choose, under "Before activity can be accessed"

• "Show activity greyed-out, with restriction information" (default) OR
• "Hide activity entirely"

All other greyed-out items are invisible to students.
