This refers to Moodle 4.1 from December 2023 onwards

Your lecturer may have chosen to use a rubric to mark your assignment instead of just providing a grade. This means you'll receive a breakdown of the marks/feedback you've achieved for different aspects of the assignment e.g. references, argument.

Accessing the rubric used to mark your assignment

  • Go to your module.
  • Click on the title of the submission dropbox.
  • Click on the title of your submission.
  • If the marker has used a rubric to either provide feedback or to mark your assignment then you can access the feedback and the rubric by clicking on the 'View Rubric' button in the ‘Instructor Feedback’ panel.

A pop-up window will load displaying the rubric.

The screenshot below shows how this will look if the marker has provided feedback in a grading form.
