 How to change the number of topics (sections) in my modules 

  • You can have any number of blocks within your modules - in the main column.
  • The minimum is the top or general block and one other block
  • Note that if your School has decided on a template they will usually provide the number of topics/sections that are normally used for modules in your School.

To add topics/sections to Topics format module

First you will need to enable editing using the 'Edit mode' slider in the top right corner of the Moodle page.

Navigate on your Moodle page where you would like to add a new topic and click on the 'Add topic'.

When you have finished, click on the 'Edit mode' slider to disable editing.

To delete a topic or section

First you will need to enable editing using the 'Edit mode' slider in the top right corner of the Moodle page.

Against the topic you wish to delete, click Edit, then 'Delete topic' 
NOTE:
This will delete everything within the topic as well, so be sure this is what you intend.
Items are held in the Recycle Bin for 24 hours and can only be restored within that timeframe.

When you have finished, click on the 'Edit mode' slider to disable editing.
