This refers to Moodle 4.3 from August 2024 onwards
A Board activity is virtual board where you can add post its. It is a way in which you can share ideas and knowledge in Moodle.
To contribute to a Board activity, you will need to:
1. Open the Board activity. This will open the activity.
2. To add a note, click the '+' icon at the bottom of the relevant column.
3. A pop up will appear. Add your 'Post title' and 'Content'.
4. You have the option then to add some 'Media' by clicking on the 'Add link', 'Add image' or 'Add video' buttons.
Please note: If you select 'Add video', you will need to enter a YouTube link. You cannot upload a video or use a video from a different site.
5. If you selected the:
a. 'Add link' button, enter the 'Link title' and 'Link URL'.
b. 'Add image' button, enter the 'image title' and then drag an image file from your files into the 'image file' drop zone. Alternatively you can click on the 'Add...' button and find your image file.
c. 'Add video', enter both the 'Video title' and the 'YouTube URL'.
6. When happy with your post, click on the 'Post' button.
This will add your post to the activity.
