Most pages in Moodle will print as successfully as any other web page, and usually you can print content without the surrounding Blocks.
With files within Moodle and in modules, you can also convert files using SensusAccess to create documents more suitable for printing such as PDF or Microsoft Office Word.
When printing Moodle Books, you have the option to either print the whole book or an individual chapter.
To do this, go into the book (see 
book logo) then click on the 'Cogwheel' icon and either select 'Print book' or 'Print this chapter'
