Navigating through a Lesson

Once you’re in the Lesson, in this case ‘Diagnosing respiratory diseases’, you should be presented with the first page of the lesson.  This could be the start of a slide show, a branched learning activity or a series of questions with some content pages.  Your tutor may have limited the number of times you can run through the activity, especially if it is a branched activity with questions.  There may also be a time limit of the activity.

To navigate through the lesson use the buttons beneath the next or answer the question.  You will automatically be forwarded to the next page assigned to that option.  Your tutor may have allowed you to return to some questions to revise your answers.  In this example you can only try each question once as you go along but can retake the Lesson at the end.

1. Click on the Lesson title to enter. 
2. Then click the button below the content for the next page you wish to view.  This this example some buttons appear frequently and others, with influential information on, appear less frequently meaning you have to choose wisely.

Note:  the time limit, if applicable, appears above the content.  After you’ve selected your first button you will then see the timer in the top right-hand corner.

     3. If your button takes you to a quiz select the radial button next to your answer and click on the Submit button.  See example below.  There are points for questions in a Lesson.
