If a module is "greyed-out" when an editing teacher looks it then it is completely invisible to students.

Chances are this is a simple case of the module being hidden from student view. To check if this is the case, go into the module in question and do the following:

1.  Go to Settings > Edit Settings

  2.  Scroll down the screen until you reach the box marked 'Availability'.  This setting determines whether the module appears in the list of modules for students.

  3.  When this is set to 'This module is not available to students' the module is invisible to all apart from staff with appropriate access rights (such as Editing Teachers).

  4.  Change this to 'This module is available to students' and scroll to the bottom.

  5.  Select 'Save changes'.
