Windows 7 computers in computer rooms on campus have the ScanSoft PDF software installed.

To create a PDF file choose File>Print and select

Scansoft

'ScanSoft PDF Create!' from the list of

printers

Printer options.

Use the 'Document and Markups' option if you have annotated a pdf for submission, to ensure that your annotations are saved in a form that cannot be changed. See screenshot below for where to find this setting.

Windows 10 computers have the 'Microsoft Print to PDF' option in the list of available printers.

To create a PDF file choose File>Print and select 'Microsoft Print to PDF' from the list of printers.

Creating a PDF by scanning a document

It's essential to use a scan setting which
