Why isn't my document opening up in a window?

In order to use many of the features in Moodle, particularly Turnitin, you will need to allow pop-ups for nottingham.ac.uk, and turnitinuk.com, which mainly affects documents downloading or web pages opening.

Many browsers have popups disabled by default so if you find that a document isn't downloading or a window isn't opening as expected you may need to enable pop-ups.  Usually Usually a little notification appears at the top of your browser window when your action has been disallowed.  When When you see this notification click on it to allow the action.

  Note: Edge does not support pop-up blocker exceptions . You must accept or reject all pop-ups when you are using Edge.

• Firefox - How to allow  pop-ups from particular sites
• Safari (Mac OSX) - How to allow pop-ups from particular sites
• iPad:  Open the "Settings" menu on your Home screen. Tap "Safari" on the Settings page. Scroll down the page to the "SecurityGeneral" section.  Slide the "Block Pop-Ups" switch to the "Off" position. Press the "Home" button to return to your Home screen.
