Submitting videos and other files
Note: In some cases you may also be expected to submit other types of file, for example, a Word or PDF document or a copy of the PowerPoint presentation. These should be submitted as normal through the Files area in the dropbox.

Navigate to the relevant module, click into the Assignment, then select Add submission.

To upload a media file you have created:
- After clicking Add submission,
- Select In the upload screen for online text, select the bent arrow at the end of the formatting bar to open the full formatting icon suite

- In the new window (Mediaspace), towards the topOnce you're in Mediaspace, select Add New > Media Upload in the top-right of the page, click Add New then select Media Upload.

- Read the copyright statement and tick the checkbox, if you agree to it.

- N.B. for Mac users: Videos created on a Mac sometimes upload without audio and may need to be re-encoded using a free program such as Handbrake)
- When the file has uploaded (this may take some time, depending on the size), complete the name and description and click Save.

- Your submission is now complete and the Submission Status should show as 'Submitted for grading' (in green).
- If your submission was late, Time Remaining will be highlighted red and it will show how late the submission was.

- If you wish to resubmit, click Edit Submission begin the process again.

- Paste the URL for your media source into the Create Link dialog box and click Open in New Window > Create Link.
