Automatically creating captions for a media file in Moodle
Since these captions are automatically generated, the accuracy may vary from video to video. As the owner of the video you can edit the captions to improve accuracy. Refer to our editing captions Moodle help page for detailed instructions.
In Moodle, click on the '

More' tab at the top of the page and select the 'My Media' option from the drop-down menu.

- Click on the pencil icon of the video you want to download the captions from

3. Choose the the Captions tab and select the download icon 
Image Removedto icon to download the captions file (srt).

You can then upload this file to any services that do not generate automatic captions.
