Receiving and Downloading a Turnitin Digital Receipt

When your assignment is uploading you will see a screen similar to thismessage on the screen saying your assignment is being uploaded.

Immediately after you have submitted your assignment successfully to Turnitin through Moodle, you will see  see a screen similar to the following:

RECOMMENDED: Make a note of this Turnitin submission ID.

You can also save the page or print it as a record. (Use the PRINT SCREEN button and paste the result into any image program including Paint, or into Word)

You should also Note - students no longer receive an email with your ID number as a digital receipt.

Finding your receipt later on

Also, once you have submitted an assignment - provided the dropbox has been set up to allow you to view originality reports - you can download a digital receipt. To do this go to the Turnitin dropbox where you submitted your assignment. Within the Turnitin dashboard click on either the pencil icon in the Grade column or the percentage bar in the Similarity column to access GradeMark.

Printing a Turnitin Digital Receipt.


  1. Click into the Turnitin assignment.

  2. Click View Digital Receipt, to the left of the Submission Title

  3. Your Digital Receipt will appear. Click Print, found in the bottom right
