The Feedback Dictionary

This short dictionary of feedback is a resource to provide you with explanations and examples to help you understand some of the most common feedback given to students. You should use it alongside the feedback provided by your tutors to help you understand how to improve future submissions.  The examples are chiefly politics-based but should be comprehensible to all readers.

This resource is compiled in alphabetical order by keyword, just like a regular dictionary. There is an index at the back that also lists some of the keywords under thematic headings. The index is very useful if you’re not sure what you’re looking for.

Good luck!

The Feedback Dictionary below will open as a PDF document and once opened can be also downloaded by clicking on the downward arrow at the top right of the screen. If you wish to convert the PDF to an alternative format, please upload the PDF to the Sensus Access Alternative File Converter.
