1. You can filter your modules to show just those In progress (current year and ongoing modules), Future (next academic year and later) and Past – note that All are visible by default.

You can also filter by Starred or Removed from view

2. You can sort modules alphabetically by  name, or by date most recently accessed. There’s also a Recently Accessed Modules block which shows those you have most recently accessed.

3. You can view the modules as “cards” – the default, or as a list, or including the summary. Experiment to see which is right for you

4. You can show up to 48 modules on each screen.

Click the arrows to move between screens.

5. You will also see a progress bar in any modules in which progress is tracked (most are not tracked)

6. Clicking on the three dots at the end of a module’s name allows you to Star (or favourite) a module, or to Remove it from your own view. You can then filter by Starred or Removed from view as in box 1

...

  • Your module may not yet be visible to you, particularly at the beginning of term - it may still be under preparation and your module convenor or lecturer has not yet made it available to students. Once the term has started please check with them when they are going to make it available.

  • You may be required to self-enrol on the module, especially if it's not a taught module, it's a Nottingham Advantage Award module or an overarching School module for information or a place to submit all your assessments. To find these modules go to the Hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner > Site home > and enter the module code in the Search modules text box.

For more details please see:  How do I self-enrol on a module?

  • You may have selected your module but your school has not added it onto your student record (or has only just added it). It takes one working day for modules added in your student record to become available in Moodle. Please leave it a day and then if you still do not see a module that you know you are signed up for check with your school that they have updated your record.
