This refers to Moodle 3.2 4 from September 2017 2018 onward

• Login to Moodle at moodle.nottingham.ac.uk  
• Navigate to your module and click on the Turn editing on buttonon Image Added
• Go to the section where you would like the recordings to appear and select the + Add an Activity or resource hyperlink
• From drop-down list, select the External tool activity and click on the Add button

External Tool settings explained

• Activity name: Name of the activity that will display in the module, for example 'Launch Echo360 : Launch EchoCenterEngage...'

External tool type: Select Echo360 UNUK Lecture Capture Cloud for UK and Malaysia modules, or UNNC Lecture Capture for China / UNMC Lecture Capture for Malaysia. 

 
IMPORTANT -  Do not enter anything in the Tool URL field below. Leave it blank.

Click on the Save and display button.

If you have already recorded lectures to your modules in the past, you should find that the module is already linked correctly to the new Echo360 Engage system.

If you are a new user, or if you want to link to content of an individual Engage 'Class' rather than to your list of recordings and presentations, please follow the instructions below to link moodle to Echo360 Engage:

New users:

Add the link as above. When you click on the link you will see a screen asking you to choose a section.

Type in your module code, select the Term and Section then choose Link Content:

If you want to link from moodle to the content of an individual Engage 'class' instead of a list of all of the content

You can unlink by following these instructions:

Click on the Echo360 Engage link in moodle,

Choose 'UNLINK LMS COURSE'

Click OK to accept the warning.

Select 'Link to a Classroom', click on the title to highlight the content you would like to link to from moodle, and click 'LINK CONTENT'.
