Once your lecturer has marked your assignment in Turnitin using Grademark and released the grades to you feedback (this happens on once the Post Date has passed) then you can , you will be able to view your grade and look at your feedback. 

To view grade and feedback from a Turnitin assignment 

  • Within your module, go to the assignment dropbox
  • Your grade and (if visible) your Similarity score will be shown.
  • Click on the blue pencil icon next to your grade
  • You may then need to click on the Grademark tab (top left) to view feedback and comments made by the marker(s)

Note: The page that comes up when you click on the blue pencil icon is provided by Turnitin from another server, so may take a while to load.

How to view grade and feedback 

1) Click on the Turnitin assignment submission box.

2) This will load the Turnitin assignment page. At the bottom you will see your assignment details and within the Grade column your grade will appear.

 To see what feedback the marker has given you click on the blue pencil icon.

3) A new browser tab will open and load up GradeMark which will contain your assignment and the feedback. You may see comments written on your assignment

 

The general feedback, comment list and rubric (if your assignment uses one) can be found by press the 3 buttons located towards the bottom right. Below gives a breakdown of each button.

Button 1 – If the marker has written some general comments about your assignment then this can be found by pressing the button with the speech bubble located towards the bottom right.

Once you have pressed this button you will see in the screen panel above the General Comments has appeared and any general comments provided by the marker will also be there.

Button 2 – If you want to see how many comments have been provided on your assignment then you can press the comment list button which is next to the general comments towards the bottom right.

This will then bring up the Comments List on the right hand side. Here all the comments provided will be listed and organised per page. To see what comments have been provided per page click on the icon next to the page number (see image below). This will then display the comments on that page. If you want to jump to the comment on your assignment press Show on paper.

Button 3 – If your marker has used a rubric to either provide feedback or mark your assignment then you can access the feedback and the rubric by clicking on the last button towards the bottom right to access the rubric feedback.

The Rubric screen will now appear above and you will be able to see feedback you have been provided for each of the criterion.

You can also download a PDF of your assignment with the feedback and mark you received. To do this, click on the printer icon which is the last icon located on the bottom-left of the screen (see image below).
