Note - NOTE: students no longer receive an email with your ID number as a digital receipt.

Finding your receipt later on

Also, once you have submitted an assignment - provided the dropbox has been set up to allow you to view originality reports - you can download a digital receipt. To do this go to the Turnitin dropbox where you submitted your assignment. Within the Turnitin dashboard click on either the pencil icon in the Grade column or the percentage bar in the Similarity column to access GradeMark.

If you would like, or are required to, print a receipt then:

1. Close the DIGITAL RECEIPT window by clicking outside it
2. Returning to the My Submissions page, allow it to reload.
3. You will be able to click on a View Digital Receipt link (See below).

TIP: You can return to this screen at any time to view or print the receipt.

Your submission

If the date in the Submitted column is in red, as above, then your submission was late.

The Submit Paper link will be available even once past the submission date: if you try to resubmit too late you will get an error message including:

"The due date for this assignment has passed and you have already made a submission"

In some cases you may also be able to see the similarity score for your submission. Whether you see this or not depends on the lecturer's choice of settings.

In the GradeMark window click on the printer icon towards the bottom left, this will bring up three options. Select the 'Download PDF of digital receipt for printing' which will give you an option to save a digital receipt in PDF format onto your computer. You now have a PDF digital receipt which you can either print out or keep on your computer which contains the details of when you submitted.
