Moodle has a feature that allows blocks to be "docked" as tabs limit on the left hand side of the page.size of file you can load. This page explains why this is, offers alternatives and tells you how to change it.

Are you: Student or Staff (click)

To add a block to the dock

• Next to the heading on each block is an icon to Hide it and next to that an icon to "dock" it (Indicated in the diagram below for the Settings block).

• If you mouseover the docked tab you can use the block as normal

To undock the block

• Click the icon for Undock (as shown below)
